Spiro Partners Yadea to Accelerate Electric Motorcycle Rollout Across Africa
Kenya's Spiro has partnered with Yadea, described as the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, to accelerate electric motorcycle deployment and battery-swap infrastructure across African markets. The tie-up combines Yadea's global manufacturing scale with Spiro's established continental swap network.

Spiro has 2,500 swap stations, 95,000 bikes, and seven countries of operational muscle. What it has always needed is a manufacturer who can keep pace.
Yadea ships to over 100 countries and builds at a scale no African assembler can match. That's the point of this deal — not a branding exercise, but a supply chain fix that removes the single most likely bottleneck to Spiro's next phase of growth.
With $270 million raised and a new engineering chief on board, the constraint was never money or ambition. It was units in the ground, fast enough to matter.
