TotalEnergies has confirmed a final investment decision on the Ima offshore gas field, with new reporting clarifying that the field's production is specifically intended to supply Nigeria's LNG liquefaction facility. The FID, first reported on 24 September alongside co-investor AMNI, adds an LNG supply chain dimension to what was previously framed as a standalone upstream development.
