Absa has reduced its SME onboarding time to under 30 minutes through AI-driven process automation, providing a concrete and measurable efficiency result from the bank's accelerating AI adoption programme. The result adds to the bank's AI milestone data reported on August 21, which included 1.6 million chatbot users and 100,000 monthly queries.
