Lagos grocery delivery startup GoLemon has ceased operations after 28 months, having served approximately 40,000 customers and processed roughly ₦2 billion in deliveries, following a failure to raise additional capital. The company was co-founded by alumni of Paystack, making its collapse a closely watched data point on unit economics in Africa's grocery delivery sector.
