GSMA Links 5G, Fibre and Digital ID to Closing Nigeria's Internet Gap

The GSMA has published a blueprint identifying 5G rollout, fibre expansion, and digital identity as the three key levers for closing Nigeria's internet access gap. The framework gives network operators and policymakers a structured roadmap for addressing the connectivity deficit identified at the RuralConnect Summit, where approximately 23 million Nigerians were reported offline.
