Ghana Makes Biometric Ghana Card Verification Mandatory, Resetting KYC Requirements

Ghana's Interior Minister has announced that biometric verification of the Ghana Card is now mandatory under new regulations, directly resetting know-your-customer requirements for fintechs and digital service providers operating in the country. The change will require operators to update onboarding and identity verification infrastructure.
