Nigeria accelerates digital switchover with free TV rollout

Nigeria has launched a free digital television service offering more than 100 channels at no subscription cost, as part of an accelerated push to complete its long-running digital switchover programme. The rollout is designed to extend digital broadcast access to lower-income and rural households.
