Google Opens SynthID AI Content Detector to Nigerians Ahead of 2027 Elections

Google has opened its SynthID AI-generated content detection tool to users in Nigeria ahead of the country's 2027 elections, described as the first deployment of a major AI content-verification tool for an African electorate.
