Airtel Africa Converts 390 Tower Sites to Grid Power, Cutting Diesel Use

Airtel Africa has converted 390 telecommunications tower sites across 14 African markets from diesel generation to grid power, saving 9.1 million litres of diesel. The conversion programme represents concrete progress on decarbonising telecom infrastructure at scale across the continent.
