Groundwork is reportedly under way for Terafab, a chip gigafactory linked to Elon Musk and described as covering the equivalent of 1,300 Loftus Versfeld pitches under one roof in South Africa. If completed, the facility would represent a landmark advanced-manufacturing investment on the continent.
