Airtel Africa Connects 3,296 Schools to Free Internet, Targeting 5,000 by 2027

Airtel Africa has connected 3,296 schools to free internet access under a programme backed by UNICEF, with a target of reaching 5,000 schools by 2027. The initiative, reportedly valued at $57 million, is in active execution and represents one of the larger structured school connectivity commitments on the continent.
