Ghana Gives Adamus Resources 12-Month Reprieve After Gold Mining Lease Revocation
Ghana's government has granted Adamus Resources a 12-month reprieve after revoking its mining lease, ordering the company to produce a turnaround plan and settle outstanding liabilities to the Ghana Revenue Authority, MIIF, and financial institutions. A six-member government team will be established to supervise the process, setting a precedent for direct state co-management of distressed mining operators.
