NCC Calls for Better Coordination to Curb Fibre Cuts During Road Construction

Nigeria's National Communications Commission has called for improved inter-agency collaboration to reduce fibre cable damage caused by road construction activities, reiterating the concern over the more than 5,000 cuts recorded in the first half of 2026. The call for coordination follows the establishment of a protection committee reported on August 13.
