Google Offers Nigerian Students Free 12-Month Gemini AI Plus Access

Google is providing Nigerian students with free access to its Gemini AI Plus subscription for 12 months, in what additional reporting describes as a promotional education initiative. The offer was previously reported on August 21 as the largest single-country AI skills initiative on the continent to date, valued at approximately ₦92,400 per student.
