Google Play launches $1 million indie games fund across 32 African countries

Google Play has launched a $1 million equity-free fund targeting independent game developers across 32 African countries, providing capital and mentorship to an historically underfinanced creative sector. The fund will back up to ten African game studios and forms part of Google's broader Africa Summit commitments.
